Hi!! I am Nupur.
I live in Bengaluru.
I have been in this city since 2010.
Can't believe its been 10 years already.
I grew up in this city. Literaly though, I was a child when I had first come here.
I was an 18 years old kid with no exposure to this outside world.
Fed home cooked food and tended to all my tiny needs by my parents.

I came here to a horribly done hostel room. A new scary city, new faces, strange food, alien language.
The first few weeks went by horribly missing home, my comfy pillow and mom's food. Thinking of how would i survive here for 4 years.
Slowly i met friendly happy faces, faces that gave me hope of happy times.
We would exchange music playlists, cook midnight maggies, gossip about the creepy seniors, go out for long evening strolls together.
Slowly this city didn't seem so scary, a love for it started to grow, it felt like another home. We would wait for our vacations to get over to meet again soon.
We became family, necessary and important, never letting go in scary and difficult times.
We grew together here in this city. Cooked together, ate together, laughed together, cried together, danced together in the rain.
Every fever, every heartache, every fuck-up we had each other's back.
4 years rolled by so swiftly and we had to depart to separate paths.
But only after we departed we realized that the bond we share is stronger than ever and distance could not stop us from being together.
We kept walking on our paths, growing in different ways.
The lives were changing, responsibilities were increasing, discovering new passions, achieving new goals, finding our love and creating new lives.
We kept cheering for each victory and reminded to keep hustling in all the difficult times.
The only thing that has remained constant amongst all of this is US!!
